SBB Utveckling signs a 10-year lease agreement with Saab

SBB Utveckling har tecknat ett 10-årigt hyresavtal med Saab. Avtalet omfattar hela fastigheten Pollux 32 i centrala Karlskrona på cirka 9 000 kvadratmeter. Byggnaden, som stått tom sedan 2020, kommer nu att genomgå en omfattande modernisering med starkt hållbarhetsfokus inför Saabs planerade inflyttning under tredje kvartalet 2027.

SBB Utveckling has signed a 10-year lease agreement with Saab regarding approximately 9,000 sq.m. in the Pollux 32 property on Trossö in central Karlskrona. The agreement covers all areas within the property, and occupancy is planned for the third quarter of 2027. Through this lease, a centrally located property that has stood vacant since 2020 is being activated and is now being developed into modern, sustainable offices adapted to Saab's operations.

The adaptation of the premises is being carried out with a strong focus on sustainability – utilizing energy-efficient solutions that reduce the property's environmental impact and contribute to lower operating costs over time. At the same time, the ambition is to provide a top-class working environment. The property is planned to be certified in accordance with BREEAM In-Use Excellent.
